Coconut oil is a light, non-greasy oil that is easily absorbed.
It is rich in fatty acids including lauric, capric, caprylic, palmitic and myristic acids. These acids are anti-microbial and anti-bacterial and rich in antioxidants, as well as good levels of vitamin E, vitamin K and minerals including iron.
Coconut oil soothes skin and supports healthy looking skin tone and is suitable for most skin types, especially those prone to dry, irritated skin.
Comedogenic rating = 2-3.
Extra information: Fractionated coconut oil stays liquid even in very cold temperatures. It also has a very long shelf life. It is a very stable oil, hence why it is used as the base oil for many of Amour Natural’s blends and diluted oils.
Amour Natural’s coconut oil is extracted from coconut and then fractionated.
This fractionation means the oil stays liquid even at cold temperatures, and is aroma-free which makes it more suitable as a skin oil.
100% pure coconut oil – nothing else is added.
Apply to skin or hair as often as desired.
Can be used neat or mixed with another carrier oil.
Add essential oils as desired.
Do not take internally. Patch test before use.
Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.
