Spring Refresh

8 March 2024

HomeBlogSpring Refresh

Spring is here, and the longer days bring renewed energy. As we start to shake off winter, it’s the perfect time to refresh your home, body, and mind. Are you feeling sluggish, drained, or overwhelmed? A gentle detox can clear out the cobwebs and any excesses, leaving you feeling focused and energised.

While diet is important, don’t overlook the power of aromatherapy. These potent aromatic oils make the cleansing process much more effective and enjoyable.

You can have increased energy, reduce cravings, boost vitality, focus the mind and improve sleep with the right aromas.

Spring Refresh blend

  • 20 drops grapefruit essential oil
  • 15 drops lemon essential oil
  • 10 drops juniper berry essential oil
  • 5 drops rosemary essential oil

This stimulating blend supports lymphatic drainage and healthy toxin elimination. And when applied to the skin in a carrier oil, it leaves skin feeling soft and renewed – the perfect way to welcome spring!

The citrus oils help purify and revitalise, juniperberry aids in flushing out toxins, and rosemary energises.

Use daily during your spring refresh, or 3-4 times a week. Diffuse and inhale the aromas deeply to experience the crisp, cleansing effects, or add to 100ml of any carrier and apply to your skin in the mornings.

You could also choose our pre-blended Energise blend as a ready-made alternative.

More spring-refresh ideas

Consider swapping out any conventional toiletries or household products for more natural ones to help reduce unwanted chemicals in your home and body. For example, organic jojoba makes a wonderful cleanser, organic rosehip makes a great face oil and you can even make your own surface cleaners with essential oils. See our website, or At Home with Aromatherapy, for more ways to use oils.
