Argan oil is extracted from the nuts of the organic Argan trees that grow in some parts of Morocco.
The nuts are picked by hand, by women working in local cooperatives, and then shelled and cold-pressed.
The organic oil is gently filtered and lightly deodorised with clay to take away some of the potent aroma molecules.
The oil is then bottled in batches and kept at a cool temperature.
This production process maintains the integrity of the ingredients and keeps the oil fresh and unspoilt.
